Wisdom teeth..

.. can be a pain. Thank the Lord He placed me into good hands though. Today i had my lower right wisdom tooth removed and I felt none of the expected pain i, well, expected. For compensation though, it's been 5 hours since the extraction and the right side of my face still feels so numb that i'm no longer interested in eating anything - usually when this happens it's akin to a physiological anomaly.

But it has been said that once the numbness wears off the post-surgical pain kicks in with a vengeance. If that's the case, I'm really quite grateful for my present circumstance. And to think that i'll be in for the same thing again in less than a month! Only then, it'll be a double whammy coz' both my upper and lower left teeth will go.. wonder what could be done to prepare myself for it.. maybe i'll blender a week's worth of food beforehand so i don't over exert myself over it lol. I'm serious - i tried eating scrambled eggs an hour ago and i met with olympian strength resistance from my jaw and throat. *Grrr* Oh well, at least i can begin to empathise with those suffering from paralysis now
